The "RS" model seat is a set used by Porsche in certain 911RS Touring cars. It is the exact same shell as the one they used to make the RS lightweight seat (with turnbuckles) but upholstered in real upholstery. It is a great period correct seat for a long wheel base early 911. Today finding one of the originals is difficult, but finding an original in usable condition is nearly impossible. They were produced with the technology of the day and built very lightly. Time and use have not been kind to them. Most are now overly flexible and fatigued with numerous cracks.
